1. Qualified Sail Makers / Shade Sail Fabricator
  • Full-time position, Immediate start, offered for qualified Shade Sail Makers.
  • Hours are; Monday to Thursday - 6 am - 2.30 pm & Fridays - 6 am -12 pm


2. Trades Person / Factory hands
Immediate Start for a Trade Assistants Full time Position available. Our Tradespeople will assist our skilled team members with everyday manufacturing tasks and will learn the art of shade sail making. There are not too many people with these skills, and our business has some of the best in the business (nationwide) to learn from.
3. Junior on the Job Traineeships in Shade Sail Making
  • School leaver, wanting a full time career doing an onsite traineeship in a Niche Industry.
  • Key points about the traineeship
  • Earn an above award Trainee salary whilst gaining a national endorsed qualification on the job training with one-on-one mentoring and support
  • Working in an industry with long term career opportunities

  • You will be trained in the following Tasks;

  • Produce patterns according to the specifications of technical drawings and designs
  • Select, measure, and mark out material
  • Cut material to shape with shears
  • Set up and maintain industrial sewing machines
  • Seam fabrics together by an industrial sewing machine
  • Operate high-frequency welder
  • Hem articles, inserting rope if required, and attach eyelets, grommets, buckles, straps, and other fasteners
  • Manufacture shade sail fittings
  • Wire shade sails to specification
  • Operate forklift.
  • Load/unload trucks
  • Attach ropes to products using hand tools
  • Make and repair shade sails, umbrella covers, and blind skins from a range of synthetic materials
  • Package shade sails for shipping
  • We may also assign you other duties, were reasonable for your position, training, and experience
